Kongo Banga belnds roots-reggae with Congolese and other African sounds. Singing in multiple languages, Kongo's lyrics are politically driven, talking of Neo-colonialism and problems in the Congo. Living in AMsterdam for many years, Kongo now lives in London and has founded a new backing bands, the Roots of Humanity. they can be seen playing at the Purple Turtle in Camden once a month.
