This 9-strong brand new brassband, founded by New York born, Texas raised trombonist Jerome Harper, has quickly created excitement on London's underground music scene. Utilising the colossal instrumentation of two trombones, two trumpets, saxophone, tuba and three percussionists, Brassroots take well known pop tunes from multiple genres and decades- everything from Radiohead to David Bowie via Michael Jackson and Gnarls Barkley- and turn them on their heads. |
